The Garmin Earthmate app provides you with a wide range of capabilities:

 <li>Complete control over and access to all inReach device features directly from the app, including sending 2-way custom or preset text and email messages, triggering an SOS signal from anywhere in the world, and tracking your location.</li>

By connecting your mobile device to the inReach via Bluetooth® technology, the Earthmate app transforms your device into a powerful satellite communication tool, as well as a GPS navigation and safety resource. To fully utilize the live tracking and messaging features—including SOS capabilities—on the Earthmate app, you will need an inReach device with an active satellite subscription that utilizes the reliable global Iridium® satellite network.

You can seamlessly plan your adventures on the Garmin Explore™ website using your account, then wirelessly sync all your plans to your smartphone or tablet. The Earthmate app offers unlimited cloud storage for all your trip data and maps.
